03/28/2022 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – As you know, the conflict in Ukraine is dominating the news lately and weighing heavily on our hearts. While the ongoing violence isn’t rooted in persecution, we have been inspired by the courage of believers in Ukraine as they navigate this troubling time.

I hope you are blessed by this footage of Ukrainian Christians as they worship the Lord in spite of their overwhelming circumstances. Their faith in the fire is both convicting and inspiring.

History of Violence

The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) is a terrorist organization that emerged in 2016 after splitting from Boko Haram. It is affiliated with ISIS and operates primarily in Nigeria and the surrounding region, targeting both civilians and military forces.

ISWAP has been responsible for numerous attacks, including assaults on Christian communities, kidnappings, and executions, as part of its broader jihadist agenda.
