GDPR Compliance
The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) took effect May 25, 2018. International Christian Concern (ICC) supports the GDPR and efforts to standardize data protection for all internet users. ICC collects only information that helps us deliver a better user experience on this website and communicate with you about ICC’s vision and mission. We think it should be easy for you to understand how your data is being used and express concerns should you have any. Please email us at icc@persecution.org. We are here to help.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Donations
We request information from you on our donation page such as name and address, credit card number, and expiration date. This information is used to process your donation and reach you in the event we have trouble processing a transaction.
Sharing
We do not share demographic information with partners or advertisers.
We use dedicated software to track donations and communicate with donors as well as a credit card processing company to complete financial transactions. We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the webpage.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g., processing donations) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
