06/16/2022 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – In Nigeria, there are millions of Christians who have been pushed off of their farmland and into refugee camps. One of our staffers, Kate, recently shared a life-changing encounter from a trip to one of these camps.
As she was driving out, she saw a woman in the rearview mirror franticly chasing down the car. Urging the driver to stop the car, Kate jumped out to see what the problem was. At that moment, the woman handed her impossibly small toddler over to Kate, pleading with her to save the child, who was on the brink of death from malnourishment and tuberculosis.
With your support, we were able to bring the boy to the hospital, where he was nursed back to relative health. His mother expressed, “I am grateful for what God has done using ICC… Without this intervention, this child wouldn’t have been alive today. We are very grateful for what has been done for us.” Thank you for helping us come alongside families like this in their moments of greatest need.
