01/24/2022 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – Many years ago, while diving in Florida, I learned a lesson that I won’t soon forget about getting lost without a guide. The more I thought back to that harrowing day for my friend, the more I understood how it relates to our spiritual lives as well.
In the dark moments of this life, Jesus reminds us that he will never abandon us, serving as the Light to guide our path. Even when we can’t see or feel Him, He is still there.
While my friend made it out of the cave surrounded by utter darkness, he had the spring to propel him back to safety. Similarly, when times feel hopeless, let us not despair because Jesus shines brightest in the darkness.
