09/27/2021 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – Why would a martyr willingly choose death to follow Jesus?
In Uganda, we work with Muslim-background believers (MBBs) as they journey into the Christian faith. As they come to Christ, most lose relationships, security, safety, and all other worldly comforts.
Today, I want to introduce you to one MBB who faced immense pressure from his family to abandon his faith. Eventually, the situation hit a boiling point and he was killed by his own father.
Thinking back to the original question, this believer was lost until he found Jesus. Once he met his Heavenly Father, there was no turning back. Not only did he follow Him until death, but he ultimately found true LIFE through Christ.
