Most Muslim-background believers from this group lost their jobs and needed food supplies as the pandemic escalated.

The Lord has been faithful to grow the population of these underground believers. They have been growing in their faith through discipleship programs for the past two years. ICC provided food aid to those struggling in the underground church during the pandemic.

They were especially appreciative of the food bags that were distributed, as they did not receive any form of government aid during the pandemic. Above all, they were happy to enjoy fellowship with our staff. We used this opportunity to encourage them to stay focused on their faith in Christ.

Though the travel conditions are harsh, we have delivered 250 Malay Bibles to support their continued discipleship and growth. The food aid also made it possible to reach them and their house church of 30 families with a little more than a hundred people.
