Kidnapped Pastor Killed in Nigeria  

04/07/2021 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – Fifty-year-old Frederick Ojo Aramuwa, from Ifira Akoko Ondo state, Nigeria, was found dead days after he was kidnapped by unknown gunmen, and having his family pay $5,000 in ransom.

“The late pastor was said to have come visiting his hometown when he was kidnapped in the company of his driver,”reported Bola Ojuola of the Daily Trust.

“He was said to have disappeared on March 31st but was later discovered to have been kidnapped few kilometers to Ifira his hometown along Ipele-Idoani- Ifira road. 

The family was said to have negotiated with the kidnappers who later agreed to collect N2m which was paid to them. 

Days later the corpse of the pastor was said to have been discovered in the bush by men of the Amotekun corps.” 

Please pray for the grieving family of Pastor Ifira Akoko, and for all those mourning the loss of loved ones due to kidnappings in Nigeria. Please also pray for the world to recognize the scale of the suffering that believers are having to endure in Nigeria, as well as for the souls of those who persecute the church, that all will repent and find salvation in Christ.
