(International Christian Concern) โย Last June, a prayer service in Pakistan was attacked by the police. The priest leading the prayer meeting when police arrived and began โthrashingโ the pastor and people present. They picked up a small sound-system and began using it to beat men and women.
This is the response to prayer in Pakistan, where religious freedom and protection of Christians is not guaranteed.
Hebrews 13:3 commands us to โremember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.โ It is our privilege to serve the persecuted and we hope that, through you, your church will begin to feel the same.
Your prayers can have a powerful impact in the lives of Christians who are suffering for their faith. By committing to pray yourself, you can speak up for persecuted Christians and encourage your church to pray as well.
