(International Christian Concern) – Last summer, following a string of threats, a church in southern India was set on fire. The entire roof was burned down, as well as furniture, musical instruments, and other items within the building. Therefore, ICC stepped in to replace some of the damaged items, including chairs, mats, speakers, drums, and more. We also provided the pastor and his family with food assistance to relieve the financial burden on them as they rebuild the church.
“I am extremely happy to receive items as [a] replacement. It would have taken years for us as the church to undo the damage, and I am very thankful for the good exemplary gesture, standing with us during this time of turmoil for us. I am very encouraged to see the faith in practice, which has really inspired me,” the pastor told ICC.
He continued, “I want to thank ICC for their generosity in being perceptive of the needs of our church and actually providing them so that nothing can interrupt God’s work and His love for all, for the continuity of the ministry through the church.”
