Gifts with an Eternal Impact | Christmas Catalog 2020

11/13/2020 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – It’s hard to believe that the holiday season is already approaching! Today, I am excited to share with you ICC’s 2020 Christmas Catalog. This year, what if you invested in a gift that leaves a lasting impact on a believer in need?

Maybe you could equip a rural church planter, like Pastor B., with the resources necessary to further the Gospel. Perhaps you could provide educational support to a Christian child who has been cast aside by society. Maybe you could provide vocational training to displaced Christian women at risk of human trafficking.

What may be a small gift or simple kind gesture to you can make an eternal impact in the life of someone in need. As you put together your Christmas shopping list this year, we hope that you will consider giving to a believer in need. Thank you for your faithful care for our persecuted brothers and sisters! The first time I saw a picture of Pastor B., I broke into a smile. And you’re probably looking at a picture of him right now, and I’m going to guarantee you’re smiling too, because this guy’s smile is infectious. And that serves him well because Pastor B. is a church planter in a remote village in India. He’s one of the many church planters associated with us, and he got saved at age 40. He’s now 55, and for 15 years he’s been going from village to village, sharing the Gospel and discipling Christians.

But that all changed last year because we got him a bike. We bought him a brand new bike and we gave him 100 Bibles, and that doubled or even tripled his effectiveness, as well as all the other church planters. Recently he communicated with us and he says, “Oh my gosh, I so appreciate the bike.” He said, “Look, in one village I brought three people to Christ. Another village I’ve started a church with 15 Christians.” And so he said, “Look, it’s just made all the difference.”

And that story brings me to the end of the year. The reason I share that with you is because, I don’t know if you know this, at the end of the year, November, December only, we get about 40% of our giving for the year. And all that giving dictates what we’re going to do in 2021. So that’s why at the end of the year we put out the Christmas Catalog.

And our catalog is, frankly, a little different than maybe Amazon’s or Kohl’s, because with ours you’re going to give a gift to the persecuted. So maybe you’re going to support a church planter like Pastor B., or you could help a bombing survivor, someone who is targeted for assassination and they can’t do the old job they used to, so we’ll give them a small business so they can start a new life. Or you could help the wife and the widow of a martyr.

There’s lots of different choices. Just visit the Christmas Catalog link below. And thank you so much for giving to your persecuted brother and sister.
