(International Christian Concern) – On New Year’s Eve of 2018, Kadir placed his faith in Christ after hearing the Gospel during an overnight prayer gathering. The next day, his Muslim father abandoned the family, viewing Kadir’s newfound faith as a betrayal against the family. Only a few months later, his mother also left, leaving Kadir to care for his two younger siblings.
Kadir has since stepped up to support his siblings who were looking up to him. Furthermore, he rescued a young boy from the streets, bringing another mouth to feed into the family.
Thankfully, Kadir is skilled in making a local dish called chapati rolex, an egg-based dish wrapped in bread. ICC provided Kadir with the cooking equipment necessary to set up his own chapati shop so that he can financially support his family.
