A few years ago, his daughter Nawa began dating a Muslim man. One day, Nawa’s boyfriend picked her up in his car, and Khalid never saw her again.

Eventually, Khalid received a letter in the mail from the man, explaining that Nawa is now married and has converted to Islam. The letter also warned Khalid not to go looking for his missing daughter.

Upon receiving the shocking message, Khalid suffered a stroke and has been physically limited ever since. In the midst of this tragedy, Khalid and his family still need to put food on the table.

Therefore, ICC provided the family with two months of inventory for a produce stand where they sell fruits and vegetables to local villagers. This will sustain the family financially as they await Nawa’s much anticipated return.
