(International Christian Concern) – As a Muslim-background believer (MBB), purchasing a Bible in an Islamic community can pose a deadly risk. The simple act of looking at a Bible in public can lead to an accusation of apostasy, which can have life-threatening consequences. Further still, MBBs are often abused by their own families if their conversion is discovered.
ICC has partnered with a local pastor in Egypt to bring spiritual support to MBBs in his community. These believers, who have had to flee their homes due to persecution, gather together in a secure location to learn about Scripture.
ICC provided this group with more than 70 Bibles to encourage them in their newfound faith and remind them that the global Church is standing with them in solidarity.
