During the attack, Victoria’s husband, NgeNgher Kwaghkunda, was killed, leaving her to care for their five children on her own.

As a result of the attack, Victoria and her family were also displaced from their family farm, taking away her source of income. In order to help this family in the midst of their grief, ICC stepped in to provide food aid to alleviate their immediate needs.

We also helped Victoria develop a small market where she can sell various food items to provide for her children once again. This small business assistance will lift the financial burden on the family while allowing them to support themselves with dignity in a sustainable manner.
