(International Christian Concern) – In many persecuted nations, Christians do not have reliable access to the Word of God. Whether due to poverty or government restrictions, many rely on the preaching of others rather than diving into their own copy of the Bible. Therefore, we strive to provide Scriptures to persecuted believers around the world in the form that is most accessible to them, ranging from hard-copy Bibles to Gospel radio broadcasts to audio-Bibles.

In 2019, ICC ushered thousands of Bibles into Laos. Although the nation is feeling the tightening grip of the communist government, the Church continues to grow. Christians are discouraged from attending house churches, and are instead pushed to attend government-registered churches.

Over the past three years, your support has brought more than 35,000 Bibles into this persecuted nation. Not only does this support encourage underground believers as they practice their faith, it also helps the Church grow. Believers in these house churches are able to distribute Bibles in their community, bringing hope to those who have never before heard the Good News.

In other nations, where believers must practice their faith even more discreetly, we must pursue more creative options for spreading the Gospel. In the Middle East, satellite TV is an effective tool for reaching out to the Muslim world. During a three-month span in 2019, more than 50 listeners called in to the program to report that they had accepted the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

As part of this broadcast ministry, ICC also supports local counselors who receive calls from listeners to the satellite program. These dedicated believers are able to answer callers’ questions about Christianity and encourage them in their faith. This crucial follow-up ministry provides the necessary support for those who are curious about Christianity, but still have questions or fears about the repercussions of conversion.

ICC has partnered with Christian communities all over the world to bring the Word of God to persecuted believers and those still hungry for truth. However, this work would not be possible without the generous support of donors.
