ICC Develops Transportation Business in Kenya

03/27/2020 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – In 2017, Jonathan suffered a neck injury that almost left him paralyzed. A group of al-Shabaab militants attacked him and four other men, leaving him as the only survivor. Although he still experiences pain during strenuous activity, he has recovered and regained much of his strength.

However, as a result of this attack, all of the Christian families in Jonathan’s village were forced to flee. Since their displacement, it has been difficult for Jonathan to provide for his family. Therefore, ICC provided Jonathan with a motorbike that will help him earn a living through a transportation business and protect him from being attacked again in the rural farms.

Jonathan expressed, “My story is one not forgotten by God. See what the Lord has done… I will put all my effort into this business to make more than enough and give my family a better life…Now the future is bright and we shall continue to trust in God, who has kept us from 2017 up to today. We know that life has been difficult, but the Lord has been good.”
