12/23/2019 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – Reports have arisen that Boko Haram has attacked and killed more aid workers in Borno State, Nigeria. Aid workers have become a regular target for the terrorist group, who wants to keep Borno State destabilized and its people in fear. The attack took place on 22 December along the Maiduguri-Monguno road. Most of the information that has been released so far has been given by a local United Nations source, but not many specific details have been released yet.

The most detailed information that has been given is that the two individuals that were abducted are females. This coincides with the many other women that have been taken in the past such as Leah Sharibu and Alice Loksha.  It however does not say what faith these ladies follow. In the past, Christian women have been held as hostages until the Nigerian government or families are able to pay large ransoms, or have been kept for life as slaves.

Please pray for these two women and the families of those who were killed in this groups continued effort to establish a brutal and evil Caliphate in Northern Nigeria.
