10/21/2019 China (International Christian Concern) – China’s Early Rain Covenant Church (ERCC), which has been targeted by the Chinese government in its crackdown against Christianity in recent years, sent out prayer requests yesterday.

It continues to ask for prayers for fellow churches in China that are suffering at the moment, so that these house churches can continue to maintain the spiritual legacy through God’s grace.

They also asked for prayers for ERCC and its different campuses. They pray for the unity of the church, so brothers and sisters can indeed love one another and not allow devil to stir the church from within. Bigger faith and courage are needed in order for them to face the next battle.

The church is appreciative for all the Christians and churches who have stood with ERCC after December 9, 2018, and prays that the Lord will send them almighty holy spirit to guide and protect them, so that they can continue to support each other and fight the good fight.

For pastor Wang Yi, elder Qin Derfu, and brother Gou zhongcan who are still behind bars, ERCC asked for prayers for the family members of the incarcerated, that they can be comforted and strengthened, while waiting for His will to be fulfilled in patience.

Last but not least, pray for every family in ERCC which has been forced to move, being monitored or followed, or members who were forced to be sent back to their hometown. May God grant them strength and grace to suffer for the Lord, and may the Lord be their strength and shield.
