04/26/2019 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – Another attack on the Kajuru community of Kaduna state took place on Friday night. During this attack, still unknown gunmen killed two people and kidnapped another three. One of the two killed was a British NGO worker named Faye Mooney.  The other was a Nigerian NGO worker named Mathew Oguche. Mooney worked with the Mercy Corps and Oguche worked with the NGO Safety Organization.

These deaths follow a month after the area had major attacks that left hundreds dead. So far the only response by the government has been to institute curfews. No perpetrators have been arrested and no communities have received aid. With this continuation of murders, tensions are high. This is first international killed in Kaduna this year during local violence.
