 ICC Note:  A Christian ministry in Kenya has been assisting several disabled children in the country that have been abandoned by their own parents who leave them exposed to wild animals. Kenya has a large population of Christians, but in recent years they have been targeted by Islamic radicals. This situation has impeded many Christians to exercise their freedom of religion or even serve their society.

With disabled children being abandoned and left to be eaten by wild animals by their own parents in Kenya, a Christian ministry has taken them under its care and is stressing that everyone is God‘s children.

Margaret Njuguna of En-Gedi, a ministry partner of Set Free Ministries, told  that children born with disabilities in the African country are often hidden away, or left to die by their own parents, and eaten by wild animals.
