Iran: Converted Christian Man Detained in Karaj

ICC Note: Twenty Christians were detained at a workshop in Iran. The police took away their personal belongings and nineteen of them were released after interrogation.

4/14/2018 Iran (Iran HRM) – Kiarash Alipour, the spokesperson for Article 18 Organization for the Defense of Freedom of Religion and Belief in Iran said that on March 2, a converted Christian identified as Aziz Majidzadeh who was in a workshop in Karaj was detained along with his friends after security forces raided the workshop.
