Boko Haram kidnapped 110 schoolgirls from Dapchi, Nigeria on February 19. The militant jihadist group returned 104 girls last week (all but five who died during the abduction, and Leah, the only Christian).

In a radio interview, Leah’s father Nata said, “They gave [Leah] the option of converting… but she said she will never become a Muslim. I am very sad but I am also jubilating, too, because my daughter did not denounce Christ.

In this video, ICC president Jeff King issues a call to:

  • Pray for Leah’s release
  • Pray that the Lord will strengthen Leah as she endures unimaginable persecution and isolation
  • Be a voice for Leah by calling on the Nigerian government to secure her release (phone numbers in video).

Thank you for standing with Leah, her family, and the families of those who lost their daughters in the kidnapping.
