Nigeria Needs Christians United and Praying

Christians in Nigeria live in fear of being found and brutally murdered by Islamic radicals that constantly persecute them. Unfortunately, Christians have been targeted by these groups because represent a threat to their goal to Islamize the world. Furthermore, the attacks on Christians have increased in the last few years and they continue to be an unprotected minority group in Nigeria.

2/21/2018 Nigeria (Daily Post) –   President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with Christians in Nigeria on the solemn occasion of the commencement of this year’s Lenten season.

This is contained in a statement on Wednesday by his spokesman, Femi Adesina.

It said: “As they join their counterparts worldwide to emulate the worthy example of Jesus Christ who fasted 40 days at the beginning of His earthly ministry, the President urges Christian brothers and sisters to pray fervently for the country’s unity and progress.

“He believes that Nigeria’s existence as one united country is a divine arrangement and nothing should be done to put it asunder.
