ICC Note: Being a Christian in Nigeria is not easy when radicals like Fulanis, Boko Haram and other smaller groups are constantly attacking Christians because of their religion. The government has become an enabler in part because most crimes against Christians are ignored purposely by the authorities and they show no intent to solve them.

04/27/2017,Nigeria (Guardian) – The Adamawa State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has accused Governor Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow of marginalising Christians in appointments and recruitments.

The Chairman of the association, Bishop Mike Moses made the allegation in Yola yesterday.He said the governor’s action against the Christians has proved that he was not ready for a re-election in 2019.

According to him, no governor had operated strictly on religious line since 1999 as the Bindow’s administration.“It is only in Bindow’s administration that all the kitchen cabinet members, as the Secretary to the State Government Chief of Staff, Commissioner of Finance and local government are all Muslims.
