The Nigerian government has affirmed its commitment to defeating Boko Haram and any other terrorist and criminal organizations with its newest purchases: two Russian Mi-35M helicopters. The helicopters are designed to provide 24/7 combat use of weapons in both poor and regular climate conditions. Cameras, updated navigational finders, lasers, and target sighting systems are other advantages to the Mi-35M. In preparation for the purchase, Nigeria paid for extensive pilot training sessions.
