The court held a hearing yesterday and found that Arif Hidayatullah, an Indonesian militant close to the Islamic State, was closely connected with Bahrun Naim, the first Islamic terrorist linked to the Islamic State and the main suspect in the bombings of January last year in Jakarta. Also, Naim is the one who designed the failed missile attack in Singapore last July. The judge affirmed that Naim provided Arif with instructions on how to obtain explosives and other materials to manufacture bombs. Arif planned to kill the Christian governor of Jakarta, known as Ahok. The terrorist had also planned to attack some places of worship in Bogor with homemade bombs. Fortunately, Ahok was was sentenced to six years in prison for these attempted terrorist attacks.

The terrorist had also planned to attack some places of worship in Bogor, with homemade bombs.
