Nigerian troops have rescued 338 people from the clutches of the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram. The operation which occurred on October 27 was conducted around the Sambisa forest in northeast Nigeria where Boko Haram considers its stronghold. Among those rescued were 192 children and 138 women.
