ICC Note: At least three people have been killed in after a bomb blast rocked a displacement camp Friday where more than 1,000 children and their families are taking refuge from Boko Haram. Christians represent the majority of people displaced by the crisis because historically, Boko Haram has targeted Christian-majority villages specifically, murdering husbands and fathers, kidnapping women, and burning churches.

It occurred at the Malkohi camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) on the outskirts of Yola in Adamawa state.

Yola has been seen as a relative safe place for those fleeing the violence.
