Christianity has grown significantly in Mexico over the last few decades, especially among Mexico’s indigenous population who suffer discrimination and oppression, and typically live as second class citizens. Christian Solidarity and ICC estimate that there are at least 70 open cases of religious persecution in five states. That means that at least 5,000 Christians have been affected.
