ICC Note: On April 2, al-Shabaab gunmen murdered 148 people at Garissa University College in Kenya, killing Christians and letting Muslims go. But the terrifying day also included stories of survival. Cynthia Cheroitich, who is a Christian, recalls the attack and how she prayed to God that He would blind the attackers so that they would not see her. A nineteen year-old survivor of the attack, she documents how her prayers were answered as the gunmen unknowingly passed her by.
