On January 17, 2015, mobs of Muslims all over Niger attacked and burned Christian churches responding to the publication of a cartoon depicting the Islamic prophet Muhammad in the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. The level of suffering Christians are still experiencing now months after the attacks is enormous. ICC is working to provide 3 months of food aid and replacement chairs for five pastors and their families from four churches in Niamey, Niger. Please pray for the pastor pictured above and other pastors in the area who continue to preach the Gospel despite persecution.
