Today, 67 members of Congress sent a letter to the new King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman, asking that he improve human rights and religious freedom for his citizens. Saudi Arabia legally blocks all faiths except Sunni Islam from worship. ICC was a leader on the letter, working with Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and other groups to get as many signatures as possible. While we don’t always see the results on the surface, these diplomatic messages between nations often have a very real and powerful effect for Christians and other religious minorities facing persecution. To be a voice for the voiceless at the highest levels of government remains one of ICC’s top priorities. Photo: Pic: King Salman of Saudi Arabia. Learn more: http://ow.ly/JVyru
