Pastor Lim Hyeon-soo, 60, has been reported as missing in North Korea. Hyeon-soo arrived in North Korea on January 31, 2015 for a humanitarian visit and did not return home as scheduled on February 4th.
3/3/2015 North Korea (FOX)-A Canadian church says its senior pastor has been missing in North Korea since late January.
Lisa Pak, a spokeswoman for the Light Korean Presbyterian Church in Toronto, said Tuesday that Reverend Hyeon Soo Lim travelled to North Korea on Jan. 31 as part of a regular humanitarian mission where he supports a nursing home, a nursery and an orphanage. Pak says the 60-year-old’s family and church have not heard from him since.
Pak says the trip was about helping the people and not political.
