Milad Zaky | The 21 Christians Killed by ISIS

On Sunday, February 15th, the world heard the horrible news of 21 Egyptian being brutally beheaded by militants affiliated with ISIS. Milad Makeen Zaky, 27, from the village of Al-Our, was one of these brave men. Milad holds an Industrial Secondary School Diploma. He was married three years ago and traveled to Libya for the first time in August 2010 then returned home to Egypt in August 2013. He traveled to Libya again for the second time in August 2014 and was working as a worker there.

ICC spoke with Ayad Makeen Zaky, the brother of Milad Zaky, on Monday, February 16. He was very sad and told ICC that what happened was very difficult and terrible. He said that the family was holding out hope that the captives would be released but were devastated when they saw the videos.  Please pray for the healing of the families who lost their loved ones during this time.  Photo: Milad Makeen Zaky
