When over 70 churches were burned in Niger on the weekend of January 17, the response from ICC required all hands on deck. ICC’s Advocacy Department had close contacts who lost four churches in the attacks. Working closely with the Africa Region at ICC, we coordinated a rapid response of aid to pastor’s families who had lost everything, including their homes. ICC Advocacy also conducted a radio interview with World News Group, raising awareness and providing insight into the root causes behind the attacks. Please continue to pray for the recovery of the Christian victims during the attack. Photo: Christians worship in a burned out church in Niger.
