NEWS ALERT: 100 Reported Kidnapped, 33 Dead, in Wake of Boko Haram Attack
Boko Haram Militants Stormed Gumsuri Sunday, Killing 33 and Kidnapping 100, Including Women and Children
12/18/2014 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that at least 100 villagers, including women and children, were reportedly kidnapped from a remote village in Northeast Nigeria by Boko Haram militants during an attack Sunday. Though an official death toll has yet to be released, eye witnesses report 33 villagers were killed during the attack by armed Islamic militants shouting, “Allahu Akbar.” News of the attack and mass-kidnapping was first released Thursday after survivors made the several-day journey to Maiduguri, capital of Borno State and birthplace to the Boko Haram insurgency, to speak to reporters.
