The Hunger for God is Real

One underground pastor from Central Asia shares an experience in a house church when “The pastor said, ‘Some of you are wishing that I would finish so you can leave, but you need to repent today. There might not be another chance.’ I knew I needed to repent and I did. At this meeting, I learned about the Holy Spirit and how he is with us and in us. This had a big impact on me, because I imagined God as very far away. Hearing that God loves us, is close to us, and interested in us created a hunger in me.”
