ICC Note: Masoud Rezaei, a convert to Christianity, is the latest Christian to join the growing numbers behind bars in Iran for no reason other than their faith. Rezaei was arrested in 2012 and was subsequently convicted of acts against national security and sentenced to five years. His case was confirmed by the courts, and on Sunday of this week he reported to the prison to begin serving his prison term.

According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Masoud Rezaei, new converted to Christianity and the Lutheran church of Shiraz resigned himself to Adel Abad prison for serving his sentence.
