Amber* (Name Changed for Security) is a young girl, 22 years old, and belongs to a nominal Christian family in Pakistan.. Amber graduated from ICC’s SOS Vocational Training program in August 2014. When she came to our program, her family didn’t have an electricity connection in their home and they only had a hand pump for water. Due to lack of opportunity and poverty, Amber could not go to school for an education.
The training Amber received left a good Impact upon her life. After only three months, she was receiving good tips and started generating an income for her daily needs. Amber said that the SOS Vocational Training Centers had saved her life. “Now my focus is clear. Praise God! Now I can start my business and can meet the needs of my family,” Amber said.
