In Thailand, ICC volunteer Shamiel partnered with Christian Youth Development Movement to observe the 2014 International Day of Peace. Attendees of the multi-faith commemoration gathered to discuss the persecution of religious minorities across the world and discuss strategies to ease their suffering. Participants also lit candles together as a symbol of hope for the oppressed and solidarity for those who are practicing their faith in fear.
