“If They Keep Spreading Christianity… We Will Kill Them”

Sassan, a missionary from a closed country in the Middle East, told us about the day intelligence agents came to his home. He and his wife were away, so they talked to his two young boys. “We know what your parents are doing. If they keep spreading Christianity, when they try to come home, we will kill them. We can do anything we want.” Eventually, Sassan and his family had to leave everything behind and are currently living in very challenging conditions as refugees in an undisclosed location. An ICC team met with Sassan, recorded his incredible story of finding Jesus in a closed nation, and provided support and prayer.
