Rescuing and serving persecuted Christians since 1995

Thank you to ICC’s volunteers Carol and her daughter, Laura, who taught Laura’s 4th grade class about persecuted Christians in North Korea. “The students had a hard time imagining what it would be like to live in North Korea. They talked a lot about how the government didn’t make sense – like how the government says they give life and freedom, but obviously that is not true. We colored the flags and talked about how we could pray for North Korea. We cut out all the prayer squares and put them in a bucket. We will draw one each day to pray over. They liked signing the big map. Many of the kids made a commitment to pray. I plan to keep talking about it in the classroom and bringing it up to keep it fresh in their minds.” Photo: Laura and her classmates learning about North Korea and showing off their “One with Them” bracelets from Open Doors.
