According to Ibrahim’s lead defense attorney, Mariam and her husband Daniel Wani intend to name their daughter Maya. The baby’s reportedly healthy birth comes as relief amongst a long and arduous battle for Ibrahim’s freedom since her arbitrary arrest and detention February 17 this year.
