Helping Orphans in Burma

Burma (Myanmar) has been carrying on genocide against the Christian Karen and Chin tribes for decades. Children are often the victims. When a Christian area is attacked or starving (as in Chin state), children are often left to fend for themselves or sent to live at monasteries where they learn Buddhism and become converts. ICC’s orphanage is taking care of 16 vulnerable children. We are hiring another staff member to help with the kids. ICC is also funding bunk beds, (the kids are currently sleeping on the ground). The children are largely from the Chin Hills and Nagaland, both conflict zones and Christian areas.
