Giving hope to persecuted Christians since 1995

Young Christian girls are often the most vulnerable targets of persecution in Pakistan. Parents try to compensate for their low income by having their daughters work as maids in wealthy Muslim homes. Some of these girls—who are as young as 12 years old—live with the Muslim family as a servant and often experience abuse, including rape. In 2012, ICC established four vocational training centers where young Christian girls could learn a trade, free of charge. Three of the four centers teach sewing skills. The other center teaches beautician skills. With this training, the young women will be able support themselves and their future families.
