When the lives of four families near Luxor, Egypt were torn apart, ICC helped to repair the damage and help these suffering wives and children move forward. When ICC learned that four men were killed and that their homes were among the 27 destroyed, we sent immediate aid to assist their families with food and other necessities, and to begin repairing their homes. The help did not stop there, but we wanted to assist these families in finding a way to earn a sustainable income. ICC’s Regional Manager, Todd Daniels, was able to visit the families shortly after these attacks and help them in establishing a small business to meet their needs, from selling lumber to renting wedding dresses, these families are finding a way to move forward, despite the pain and hurt they are feeling.
