Ruth, a Christian mother from Eastern China was fined and imprisoned for two years by the Chinese government for helping to print Christian literature banned by the authorities. Her husband and young boy wait patiently every day for her release.  With generous donations from donors, ICC was able to provide support with finances to purchase better food, sanitary items, and other basic necessities while she is detained.  Ruth is not allowed to have a Bible in prison or share her faith, but she has written dozens of Christian themed hymns which she teaches to her fellow prisoners.
You can learn more about Ruth’s story and how you can pray for persecuted Christians in our Free September Newsletter.
