ICC is caring for almost 300 Christian children affected by persecution from our “Kids Care” fund. We operate three orphanages for children from India and Burma.
For the third consecutive year, ICC gave its donors the opportunity to bring joy to our orphans by packing a shoe box full of gifts to be delivered by ICC. Many donors responded to this appeal and sent in toys, clothes, toothbrushes, soap and other items these orphans wouldn’t ordinarily have access to.
When these gifts were delivered, the children of the orphanage in India (pictured left) could barely believe their eyes. For children of the persecuted Church, a gift of any fashion, be it a ball, a box of crayons, a new set of clothes or even a toothbrush, instantly becomes a treasured possession. The fact that the gifts came from Christians in the United States made it all the more unbelievable for the children.
