Petition Calling For an End to Forced Church Closures in Indonesia
THE NEED: Churches all over Indonesia are being forcibly closed by the government. Congregations stand at watch as their churches are bulldozed to the ground while mobs of Muslims cheer and clap. In 2012 alone about 50 churches were shut down. Pressure from Islamic extremism and abuse of government power are making this much bigger than a church building issue. The issue is one of religious intolerance, and from a nation who advertises religious freedom!
WHAT YOU CAN DO: We need your help. Lend your voice in the aid of the persecuted today and sign our petition calling on the Indonesian government to end the forced closure of churches in Indonesia.
