The 2008 anti-Christian violence in India left many children orphaned and homeless. Without a family, these children faced the prospect of living on the streets, where they would have to beg and steal just to survive.
After the violence, ICC stepped up and established an orphanage in India were 14 of these children are being raised. These children are being provided with food, shelter and a strong Christian home. This will allow these children to grow up into the next generation of Christian leaders in India.
In 2013, all of the 14 orphans under ICC’s care were ready to go to school full time. Pictured above are 3 of the children as they head off to school for the day.
